Joe Rogan - Avoid Selfish Stupid Friends

Selfish individuals or people who exhibit selfish tendencies are known to act in their selfish interests. These people will do anything to have things their way without caring about who gets hurt in the process. Joe Rogan and Bryan Callen discuss why it is important to cut off selfish friends from your life.

Joe Rogan is an American podcaster, comedian, UFC color commentator, actor, and former TV host. He hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast discussing current events, comedy, politics, philosophy, science, martial arts, and hobbies with celebrity guests.

There are things that can happen in this life that can really hold you up, and one of the things that can complicate your life to no end is when you make the mistake of allowing really stupid people into your life.”

Being friends with a selfish individual rarely ends well for the person on the receiving end of their selfish behavior. Often, you will find yourself going out of your way to accommodate the needs of a selfish friend, yet they do not do the same for you.

Surrounding yourself with selfish friends also means you will hardly progress in life. This is because your social life is a never-ending drama cycle in which you constantly help to solve their problems and attend to their issues while neglecting your own.

If you like venture into that world, you’ll be hanging around with problems to solve where you get nowhere. Your life is not going to be about figuring out your life. Your life is going to be dealing with whatever emotional (baggage) these morons in your life have dragged into it.”

A good friendship should be about mutually supporting one another through life, ambitions, goals, and dreams. Good friends make it easier to reach your goals by holding you accountable. Having a selfish friend puts you in a constant stream of conflict.
